Privacy
If you register, we keep your name, email address, phone number, address, and the date you agreed to be contacted. We store a protected password hash, and use a private cookie to keep you signed in and remember your opportunities across devices. Your account details are private; we do not sell or share them. We are not sending messages yet.
If you use Contact us, we store the conversation and any attachments you send, linked to your account. An AI assistant (the same provider described below) may read your message, with contact details removed, and answers using only facts our team has approved. A person can always take over, and the team uses your account email to reply.
When model-assisted intake is configured, we send permitted intake answer text to Anthropic to help understand your answers, arrange your profile summary, and prepare edits you request. We filter account contact details, names, links and attached material out of these model requests. A local model or a rule-based conversation can be used when the cloud model is unavailable. We do not claim zero data retention for Anthropic.
Actions and organizer visits
We keep a history of actions such as viewing and responding to opportunities, saving matches, sending requests, and opening an organizer’s website. This helps us understand how iFavours is used. The history uses an opaque browser or account identifier. It contains no names, email addresses, message text, IP addresses or browser details. For a request we record only its length; for a contact message, only how it was handled. Deleting your account removes this history for its browser identifier, including actions taken before registration.
Files you add to your profile
If you upload a file (for example a résumé or a certificate), we read it once to pull out facts about your skills, experience, certifications, education, languages and causes. We use those facts to describe you on your profile and to match you with opportunities. We delete the original file as soon as it has been read. We keep only the facts we found, the short line of text each one came from, and the file's name. Images may be read by an AI model (Anthropic) on our behalf. You can delete any file's facts at any time from your profile. Deleting your account removes all of them.
